Yes, that is our world that we live in. The media, newspapers, magazines, TV shows are definitely influencing a vast majority of the world right now. It is not wrong to watch or read these things because I do too. However, never forget that some if not all of these events are forged and fake and/or exaggerated. Of course, the media wants to hype things up and exaggerate a TV series or a current event because the more viewers that they have, the more money they earn. Great world right? The concept is simple: Media(Fisherman+Bait)+average humans(the dumb fish)=happy fisherman. Humans are the best dreamers after all and they constantly love to reference their life with the news, magazines, TV shows and etc. The media is like a poison spreading through all of us.
People judge each other the moment that they meet or hear about so and so from another person. Just because a person looks a certain way, it is not fair to assume or associate that person to a stereotype until you meet that person and have talked to him or her before. Why agree on the words or rumors of another person and then jump to conclusions until you find out personally whether the rumor or gossip was true or not? Just analyze using your instincts carefully and seek for a definite answer, because that is the most simplest solution ever. I've heard of too many groups, relationships and personally been hurt before because of rumors spreading by good talkers deceiving less intelligent people. A lot of victims have been hurt because people have been way too gullible! I'm not saying I am or not intelligent now, I am just saying that I know gullible people or knew of them before who have been tricked and made them in believing something actually happened: False memory creation. Gullible people have such great imagination(not compliment) that when an event is told to them, they would believe it and lock it in their minds as if the event happened even though realistically the memory was forged by a good talker.
It is a GOOD thing to be conscious, GOOD thing to doubt, GOOD thing to not believe a person who seems like a "nice person", GOOD thing to keep thinking and analyzing. Eventually you will easily be able to differentiate fake and real, positive and negative.
